Information for the 2011 racing season

We will be running a 4-Stroke ATV class as an exhibition class this year. Which means that it's not a district class, and there's no points involved, but there will be a class for them at our climbs and we will give the same awards that every other class gets. If the class generates an appreciable number of riders, it may make a compelling argument to add such a class to the district for next year.

We're also going to try offering a Vintage class - defined as any motorcycle with a motor and chassis manufactured no later than 1980.  Doesn't have to be matching motor & chassis - but both the motor and chassis have to be 1980 models or earlier.

Signup closes 30 minutes before the advertised starting time for the event.  There will be no late signups allowed.

Also, as per AMA rules (as they have been for the past couple of years), IMC is going to be abiding by the AMA requirement that BOTH parents must sign youth rider waivers.

That means that parents with youth riders need to ensure that one of the following 3 things is done in order for your child to compete:
1. BOTH parents need to be present at the event to sign the forms on-site
2. OR, you can get an Annual Release card from the AMA at http://www.ama-cycle.org/amrace/release.asp
3. OR, you can get copies of the waivers themselves and have them signed and notorized in advance, and bring them to the hill. The minor release form can be found at http://www.amadirectlink.com/organizers/resources/forms/Releases/OffRoadMINOR.pdf - it MUST be printed in color, and must be signed by both parents and NOTARIZED to be valid on race day.
